Hello to you all !Well I am so happy because , guess what .I am back at school.

Yes I know what you are


thinking , but well.Im pleased to see all my friends again and holidays cant last forever!!So I was
happy this morning to take the bus with my big brother John. Oh yes let me start from the beginning .
My name is Alison and Im 12 years old and John is 15. Ive also got a younger brother Steve who is 8
years old . He goes to a primary school in Paignton, and my older brother and I go to a grammar school in
Torquay, in the south west of England. My mother, Kate who is 46 is a doctor, and my father, Michael
who is 47, is a chef in a restaurant by the sea. They are very nice , often funny, they sometimes get
angry when we do stupid things , but they are really ok. Weve got two cats ,Fluffy and Sweety and one
dog called Star. We live in a big house near the sea with a big garden , where our pets can play. I can
speak a little French and Spanish, I can also play the piano and the guitar, Im quite musical, whereas
John is very sporty, he can play all sorts of team sports like rugby and football, he can swim in the sea
and he can surf! Steve can surf too!!. I like fruit , hamburgers , pizzas and chips, I love chocolate ice
cream, I know I shouldnt!. I enjoy watching series on TV , reading books, going to the cinema and
meeting my friends .I am quite cheerful, very polite and hardworking, I am sometimes grumpy and I can
be shy with people I dont know such as Mrs Langstone , the new head teacher I met this morning in my
school. I ve got my new time table and I will be working from Monday to Friday starting at 9.00 am
and finishing at 4.00 pm. As for the school subjects , they are still the same: English, French, maths ,
history, religious education, geography, art, drama, PE, music , computingWell I hope this will be a
good year for me and for you too!!
