Frigosorb

This document provides information on the Frigosorb evaporator system for dehumidification. It lists 5 models of the Frigosorb unit with their respective cooling capacities, power consumption, and dimensions. The system works by using a compressor, condenser, and expansion valve to condense water from air running through the evaporator. It can achieve dew points as low as -10°C and uses about 1/3 of the energy of a standard sorption dehumidifier. A correction diagram is also provided to adjust the nominal cooling capacity for different inlet air conditions.

Valid for inlet conditions 20C/ 60% RH. For other inlet conditions the capacity can
be calculated by using the correction factor from the diagram shown below.
Volume flow for density 1,20 kg/m3 .
Frigosorb
Used when it is not possible to duct the wet
air to ambient.
- The total energy consumption is around 1/3
compared with an ordinary sorption dehu-
midifier at 20C/60%RH.
- Only condensation, no wet air.
- Possible to achieve -10C dew-point in the
dehumidified room.
- Patented process.
