Considering your building/program School Improvement Plan (SIP) goal and our Unified
District Vision (UDV), please identify an area for professional growth you would like to pursue
this school year. This goal should influence and improve your current practice.

PGP Goal
1. What is your professional growth goal?
I would like to improve my transitions in order to maximize students time spent moving.

2. How does it support your building SIP or the UDV?


Students are given a 30 min P.E. time twice a week and this helps our school achieve our
Wellness goals. By improving my transitions I will also be improving students time getting
their heart rate up and exercising their bodies. If I achieve my goal of smooth transitions the
environment in the gym will be positive, fast moving, and energetic. A direct result will be
better behavior and classroom management because students will be constantly engaged.
