Slide 1 :

Hello everybody, today I have chosen to tell you about my country. So the title of my presentation is
Moroccan Food, tradition culture and clothes.

Slide 2 :

Firstly I will tell you about the plan of my presentation; first of all I will give you a brief introduction.
Secondly I will tell you about Moroccan food and clothes. Finally I will present the tradition and
culture of Morocco.

Slide 3:

Morocco is situated in North Africa. Rabat is the capital. I live in the biggest city of Morocco
Casablanca and also the economic capital. Our religion is Islam. Moreover the first language is
Arabic, the second is French, but there are some regions that speak Barbarian.

Now I will tell you about Moroccan Food

Its tea, we prepare the tea in a traditional teapot called Berrad you can see in the picture. Drinking
fresh mint tea is a national past tame in Morocco. Its made with green tea, lots of fresh mint and
sugar.

For you, Xhat are the traditional Moroccan cuisine dishes ?

The famous Moroccan dish is Couscous. Its very delicious. The families typically have couscous on
Friday , the holy day in Islam.

Another famous Moroccan dish is Pastilla.We usually eat Pastilla in celebration for example
weeding, Aid. Moroccan Pastilla is famous for its savory blend of tastes and textures.

For mens clothes, we have the Djellaba and Gandora, they are 2 long dress when the man is wearing
the traditional clothes he usually puts babouche called Balgha

Caftan, the Moroccan caftan is worn for celebration, particularly weedings. Caftan is long beautiful
dress. Its very fancy.

Moroccan tradition is very rich , the principal tradition in Morocco:

Ramadan

Aid al adha

Weeding

But I choose to tell you just about weeding.

In Morocco the marriage celebration includes several well organized ceremonies that can last from
3days to a week depending on the family and region of Morocco.

The weeding are usually composed for 3 stapes:

First stape is Henna ceremony , the bride is wearing a green caftan and she is tattooed by Henna, its
plant.

On the day of weeding, the bride wears a white caftan.
