Homework can help students by complementing and reinforcing classroom learning,
fostering good lifelong learning and study habits, and providing an opportunity for students
to be responsible for their own learning. It can also provide another opportunity for parents
to participate positively in their child’s education. It is important for everyone to maintain a
sensible balance between school work and play. We believe both quality of school work and
general well-being are improved by regular participation in a range of both active and
relaxing leisure activities.

Issue,

I have been wondering if homework is necessary.

Supporting points,

• I think we should have homework because it helps us to learn and revise or work.
Homework helps people who aren’t very smart to remember what they have learned.
Homework is really good because it helps with our education.

• I think we should have homework because it helps us to learn and as training material.
Homework can lead students to learn in comparison with playing games after school.

• I agree with the homework because it helps because so people can better understand
what has been taught.

Contracting points,

• I do not agree with the homework but, my times, doing homework is not a great idea. I
think we shouldn’t have homework because sometime the student must have their free
time and enjoying them.

• I do not agree because Sometimes homework is boring and not important. I think
homework is bad if the teacher gives too many homeworks, and it made the student
stressed.

• I don’t agree with the homework because it only create students saturation and reduce
the time to play.

Conclusion / recommendation,

As you can see, homework has negative effects and positive effect on the student
today. Homework helps the student remind the lessons that given by the teacher, but I think
homework should be given on weekend and with enough amount (not too many
homework), so the students won't feel stressed.
students should be able to receive homework, because teachers give homework just
want the students are smart and can keep practicing that lesson recently described in a
classroom. and do homework in a way that students like like listening to music that does not
arise feeling tired and lazy.
