Skerik Grey Scale Test (v.03)

Skerik grey scale test is used to verify the contrast sensitivity of inspection and non-destructive testing personnel. It complies with international standards. The test can be printed or displayed on a monitor and must have a minimum size of 180mm to be readable. Contrasts of 2% or greater must be distinguishable while contrasts under 1% should not be visible.

SKERIK GREY SCALE TEST

CONTRAST SENSITIVITY TEST DEVELOPED BY TWI

Skerik grey scale test complies with the requirements of EN ISO 9712:2012, SNT-TC-1A ed. 2011 and NAS 410 rev. 4.
It is intended to be used for verification of grey scale perception of inspection and non-destructive testing personnel.
This grey scale test is suitable for use as printed paper hardcopy as well as in form of pattern on the monitor screen.

Test can be downloaded for free from www.cswip.com. This test is free for use provided that it is not modified.

Quality of test pattern shall be verified on calibration pattern prior to use. It is recommended that a record of verification is kept for audit purposes.
