1) Schneider Electric France was issued a non-conformance report for not fully complying with electrical bus bar sheathing specifications on recently manufactured switchboards. 2) The specification required green or green with yellow insulating sheathing along the entire length of earth bus bars, but Schneider used sheathing with only yellow marker intervals instead of the entire length. 3) An investigation and corrective actions are required to address the non-compliance and ensure future switchboards meet specifications.

Description of Non conformance:
As per QP Engineering Standard ES.2.14.0015 Rev.A, clause # 9.9, Earth bus bars shall be sheathed with green,
or green with yellow, insulating material along its entire length, except at connection points for internal and
external cables or straps. Schneider used tinned copper earth bus with green color sheath and with yellow
marker on earth bus at regular interval instead of entire length. Hence manufactured Switchboards do not comply
with the requirement of specification.
