Morrison meets his old friend Jimmy at an airport bar who gives him a card for a smoking cessation program run by Mr. Donatti. Donatti forces Morrison to witness frightening consequences for animals if they disobey, and threatens Morrison's family if he smokes. Morrison goes three months without smoking but has one cigarette in the car. In retaliation, Donatti subjects Morrison's wife to electric shocks, forcing him to quit permanently. Years later, Donatti threatens to cut off Morrison's finger if he doesn't lose weight, showing that Donatti's control over him continues indefinitely.

QUITTER´S STEPHEN KING

At an airport bar 2 friends of adolescence met. Jimmy Mc Can gives a card to Morrison so he
can stop smoking, in a month, he decides to go there and meets Mr. Donatti who makes him
sign a paper and tells him that he can smoke for the last time that night, the next day, Morrison
returns to Donatti and he makes him see a rabbit eat in a room with mesh and when a button is
crushed the rabbit received electric charges, Donatti told him that this will happen to his wife if
he smokes. Donatti sends Morrison to be guarded 24 hours a day, warns him that they will not
even hesitate to beat the son who was retarded. Morrison worried, he spent 3 months without
smoking but one day in the car I smoke a bit, when he got home his wife was not there.

The phone rang, it was Donatti. He cited Morrison in the office and he was forced to see his wife
receive electric shocks, he asked his wife's forgiveness and quit smoking, a year later he received
a call from Donatti, He quoted him to the doctor's office, weighed it and gave him some pills to
lose weight if he did not cut his little finger to his wife. Finally he met Jimmy and when greeting
the wife noticed that he did not have the little finger, years later at the bar Marrison leaves the
card to 2 young people.
