Here is the Oplus 8.96 Stock rom tested by many expert technician, a solution for common problem of this phone like monkey
virus, hang on logo, boot loop, invalid IMEI, unknown baseband, network unlock and no power.

How to flash Firmware / Stock Rom


1. Download SPD Upgrade Tool alson known as ResearchDownload
2. Download O+ 8.96 Unlock Firmware by gabstech88, Firmware Password is: gsmsandwich.com.ph
unpack using winrar or 7zip
3. Download and Install SPD USB Driver. refer to this video on how to install (courtesy of androidmtk). If Spreadtrum driver is
already installed on your computer, you can skip this step.
4. Next is open the downloaded upgrade tool and runUpgradeDownload.exe or ResearchDownload.exe.
5. Click on Load packed and select a .pac file (pac file is the firmware you downloaded)
6. Once the pac file is loaded, click Start downloading to begin flashing.
7. Turn off your phone, then plug usb cable connected to your computer and phone while pressing volume down or up. then
a progress bar will show that means started flashing.

8. Wait until it will show Passed, it means that you have successfully flashed firmware.

Alternative Spreadtrum driver by jungo (if the above driver does not work).

For those unknow baseband, you can use the following NVRAM Backup by Toperz of GSMSandwich

Please try to flash the firmware above to fix the unknown baseband, but if doesn't work, you can write the nvram
through Miracle Box.

I did it through half way of downloading it to the phone, then it was interrupted and the download failed, now i'm having problem
cause the phone is unrecognized by the driver anymore.. also, it wont turn on though i plugged it in.. could u help me out? Tanx...

I'm done installing all drivers and yet try to flash my O+ 8.96 android and yet the result is failed. i tried it again and its not even
changing and flash. my phone is stack on unfortunately stop of all apps. that's why i end up in flashing my phone. please help me

Please check also your cable or the usb pin of your phone. the driver is compatible and tested to win7

my phone also is not opening since i restart it the android luncher is crashed said by the notification but when i charged it, it
charges the phone but when i open it the logo of o+ is there but again it wont open...what should i do?
