VISUAL INSPECTION REPORT

I. General Information
a) Name of the Building : BUREAU OF JAIL MANAGEMENT AND PENOLOGY
b) Location of the Building : Sitio Balacan, Brooke’s Point, Palawan
c) Building level : 2-storey with accessible roof deck
d) Usage of the Building : Jail & Office

II. Structural System


a) Materials : Reinforced Concrete, Steel, Timber

III. Survey of Loading on the Structure


a) The existing usage and loading condition is compatible with the intended
purpose of the Structure.

IV. Survey of Addition or Alteration Works to Structure


The following facilities were added integrated/added on the originally completed
structure.
a) Two additional comfort rooms, one at the roof deck, the other one is at the rear
side of the structure.

V. Survey of Signs of Structural Defects, Damages, Distress, Deformation or Deterioration
a) No excessive beam deflections.
b) No visible cracks on the following parts of the structure: floor, walls, beams &
columns.
c) No noticeable floor and foundation settlements.
d) No visible termite infestation.
e) Minor leakage is present along the small portion of the ceiling.
Recommendation:
f) No signs of corrosion.
