Title: Breed Identification and body weight measurement of cattle and Buffaloes
 To Identify the External anatomy of cattle/buffalo and physio anatomical
importance of those parts.
Objectives:
 To Identify the cattle /buffalo breed based on the phenotypic characters

 To measure the live weight of cattle or buffalo

1. Activity 1: Indicate the phenotypic characters of cattle and buffalo breeds that are reared in the farm by
filling the following table.

With Identified breed’s information state weather, it is cross breed or pure one, if the breed is not pure
comments about the discrepancies with pure breed.

3. Activity 3: Measure the body weight of two cattle and one buffalo using the weigh band and formula
method. Provide the comments about these measurements. Use the following formula to estimate the
