How to get a new SoftToken

Order the SoftToken using this Link „Order my Soft Token“
*the monthly fee will be charged to your cost center

- After your order is complete you will receive a confirmation email.

Before you start

• Order the Softtoken……………………………………………………………………… P


• Block about 15 min. for the following steps……………………………………………
• Have your SAP iPhone/iPad and SAP Computer logged on to the SAP network..
• Have a pen and paper handy to note down the activation password………………

PLEASE NOTE:
The SecurID SoftToken can only be installed on one device. So install it on the device you are
more likely to carry with you when needing remote access.

Install the RSA SecurID App

Search for „RSA“


Load/install the
Open App Store Tap „Search“ Tap on „rsa RSA SecurID
securid software SoftToken App
token“

How to activate the new SoftToken (step 1/5)

Open RSA
SecurID App Tap „Email Send a copy
Tap the card
on your Binding ID“ to yourself
mobile phone

How to activate the new SoftToken (step 2/5)

Open Internet Explorer and go to: https://secureidadm.wdf.sap.corp/deploy.html

• Copy the Binding ID from the mail as Device ID


/ Device PIN

• Select your device from the drop-down menu

• Click „Send“

The page load could take a moment


– please be patient.

The SoftToken Deployment screen will appear with your activation password (highlighted in red)

Take a note of your activation password

How to activate the new SoftToken (step 4/5)

You will receive an email from [email protected] with subject SoftToken Deployment

Tap on the link – Enter the activation
Open the email password (from step 3
this should start
at your mobile which you noted down) Tap OK Ready to use
the import
device
process - Tap Return

How to activate the new SoftToken (step 5/5)

Open Internet Explorer and go to: https://secureidadm.wdf.sap.corp/set_pin.html

• Here you must set a PIN with 4,5 or 6 digits (you can choose this
PIN and it can be the same PIN you used on your last SecurID
Token, if you want)

• Click „Send“
• Wait for that mesage
