TireAlert Features for When a truck operator sees rock spillage on a haul road, the operator
Equipment Operators presses the Spill button on the mobile field computer to report a
spillage event. The system relays the truck position in real time to the
central server and logs the spillage event to a database.
TireAlert Features for You can proactively monitor the TMPH of haul trucks and assign
Mine Supervisors equipment off high-TMPH haulage paths before tire temperature
becomes as issue.
When a truck operator reports a spillage or dust event, you can
respond to an exception and send auxiliary equipment to perform
clean-up activities. If your mine has the Auxiliary Equipment Task
Manager Module, the system can automatically send a task to the
closest auxiliary equipment that can perform the clean-up activities.
In MineGraphics, you can view plots showing truck positions where
operators reported spillage or dust events. Using this information, you
can look for patterns and determine whether to assign additional
roadwork.
Configuring TKPH/ 1 From the DISPATCH Master Keypad, click TMPH. Alternatively,
TMPH from the FormView window or CTRL+F, enter the form name
TMPH.
Using Averaged Tire Below is the Truck TMPH Utility that shows averaged tire data.
Data
1 The top section of the Truck TMPH Utility lists all trucks in the
DISPATCH system. If you don’t want to use default settings for a
particular truck, enter the Empty size and TMPH Max for the
truck.
Field Definition
ID Truck ID
2 The bottom section of the Truck TMPH Utility contains the default
configuration settings. To change these values, contact your
Modular representative.
Field Definition
Table 2.2 Truck TMPH Config. Settings - Averaged Tire Data (Continued)
Field Definition
Use load YES = Use the material, truck type, and shovel type that
size did the loading to calculate loaded tons to be included in
the TKPH/TMPH calculation.
NO = Use truck size from the TRUCKMOD Utility.
Using Individual Tire Below is the Truck TMPH Utility that displays individual tire
Data data.
The top section of the Truck TMPH Utility lists all trucks in the
DISPATCH system along with each tire.
• Tire 1 = Front Left
• Tire 2 = Front Right
• Tire 3 = Rear Outside Left
• Tire 4 = Rear Inside Left
• Tire 5 = Rear Inside Right
• Tire 6 = Rear Outside Right
1 For each truck in the top section, enter the Empty size. For each
tire, enter the TMPH Max, % of Load, and Tot Empty.

ID Truck ID
Field Definition
Table 2.4 Truck TMPH Config. Settings - Individual Tire Data (Continued)
Field Definition
Max YES = A truck with a tire that exceeded the max TMPH
Assign will still receive an assignment.
NO = A truck with a tire that exceeded the max TMPH will
not receive assignments until TKPH/TMPH falls below the
max TKPH/TMPH.
Note: This field only has an effect if Generate Exception
is YES.
Use load YES = Use the material, truck type, and shovel type that
size did the loading to calculate loaded tons to be included in
the TKPH/TMPH calculation.
NO = Use truck size from the TRUCKMOD Utility.
Generating the Tire The Tire Heat Summary report displays either individual TMPH/
Heat Summary TKPH information for each truck’s tires, or averaged TMPH/TKPH
information for all the tires on a truck.
Report
The report version is controlled by the TMPHBYTIRE field.
• TMPHBYTIRE = YES: The system performs TKPH/TMPH
calculations by tire.
• TMPHBYTIRE = NO: The system performs TKPH/TMPH
calculations for all tires averaged together.
To run the report, on the StandardReports page, click Maintenance
> Tire Heat Summary.
Depending on your system configuration, a version of the Tire Heat
Summary Report appears. See “Averaged Tire Version” on page 16 or
“Individual Tire Version” on page 17.
Averaged Tire Version If the system calculates data for the average of a truck’s tires, the
averaged version of the Tire Heat Summary report appears.
Field Definition
ID Truck ID
Individual Tire If the system calculates data for each truck tire, the TMPH/TKPH
Version Summary report contains a separate column for each tire.
• Tire 1 = Front Left
• Tire 2 = Front Right
• Tire 3 = Rear Outside Left
• Tire 4 = Rear Inside Left
• Tire 5 = Rear Inside Right
• Tire 6 = Rear Outside Right
Field Definition
Table 2.6 Tire Heat Summary Report - Individual Tire Data (Continued)
Field Definition
Note: By default, the report assumes that the weight of the truck, empty
or full, is distributed evenly across all six tires: 100%/6=16.6667%.
Users can customize the % of Total Empty and Max values for each tire
on each truck. However, if the user does not change the default values,
the value for each tire on each truck in the report defaults to 17%.
Dust events identify areas where a truck operator reported dust. Dust
events appear in MineGraphics as seashell-white dots.
When you hover the mouse over a spillage or dust event, a tooltip
displays the following information:
Item Description
2 In the Start Time and End Time fields, enter the time period
that you want to plot.
a Type the start and end dates in the date fields or select the
dates from the calendar.
b Type the start and end times in the time fields. You can also
select the hour, minute, or AM/PM and then use the arrows to
change the values.
4 Select the Use equipment filter check box to show only specific
equipment units or all equipment units of a specific equipment
type selected in the Equipment section of the MineGraphics
Configuration Panel.
5 Click Apply.
A spinning wheel appears on the top left corner of the current view
port to indicate the system is retrieving the data.
Note: You can turn off icon displays for dumps and other items and then
zoom in to your area of interest to improve the view of the plot.
