Major Aspects to be followed for
approval of a layout
The minimum width of roads is 40 feet.(GO MS
No:528 MA dt.25-09-98)
The minimum area of a plot is 100 Sqm (GO
MS No:292 MA dt.28-05-94)
The minimum area to be left as open space for
community purposes is 10% of the total area. (GO MS No:718 MA dt.30-11-93)
The land use as per the Master plan or Zonal
Development planmust be residential use for the site applied for.
If any site is affected by any road widening or
new road proposed in MP/ZDP they have to be left in the layout.
15% of the plotted area need to be mortgaged
to the UDA towards security for providing infrastructure facilities in the layout. (GO MS No:276 MA dt.02-07-2010) Infrastructural facilities to be provided BT roads
