Two faculty members, Mr. Noel Mecwan and Mr. Samkit Shah, had salary deductions in December 2017 for being marked as on leave without pay (LWP) on December 15th, 2017. However, they were actually present on campus that day and performed their duties as shown by the department attendance records. They request that the LWP be changed to reflect their actual presence, and for their salary deduction in December to be reimbursed in January 2018 pay.

Respected Sir,

It has come to our knowledge that, 15th decemebr 2017 has been marked as LWP and there has been
salary deduction done for the same in the december months salary for two faculty members of our
department, namely, Mr. Noel Mecwan and Mr. Samkit Shah.

Sir, we both were present in the campus on the mentioned day and have performed our respective
administrative and academic duties. Also we have punched in Biometric machine to mark our
presence, but as per the converstion with Charul madam we came to know that even if punching in
machine our record shows absence. For the reference, we have attached our department's
attaendance muster.

Sir, it is therefore our earnest request kindly look into the matter and resolve the issue so that the
marked LWP can be converted to our regular presence and the salary deduction done in our salary
for the month of December 2017 can be reimburshed in the salary of January 2018.
