Design of Composite Floor System Using Profiled Sheets

The document summarizes the design of a composite floor system using profiled steel sheets. It provides the section properties of the Tata Steel ComFlor 80 profile, including a thickness of 0.9mm and profile weight of 0.12 kN/m2. It then calculates the design moment resistance of the section as 44.12 kN/m. The document also analyzes an interior panel from the model that is 4.6m x 10.2m in size. It calculates the self-weight, floor finish, and live loads and determines the maximum factored bending moment is 36.1664 kN/m, which is less than the design moment resistance, confirming the assumed section details are safe.
