A DETAILED LESSON PLAN FOR SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL

ACCOUNTANCY, BUSINESS AND MANAGEMENT

At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:

a. Distinguish the three kinds of people in this world;


b. Know the essence of planning for the future;
c. Express their thoughts about their goals and how to reach it.

Before we start our lesson for today, let’s play a
game, first. I need two volunteers to come in front,
one from boys and one from girls.
All you have to do is to guess the titles of the
movies which will I project. The first one who
reached the finish line will be the winner and will
get the prize. The two will come in front.

The game we played has something to do with our
topic for this day. Some of you may wonder and

D. Presentation

According to Bo Sanchez, known as the “Preacher


in the Blue Jeans”, there are three kinds of people
in this world:

1. MOVIEGOER – this person watches the


movie of their lives, admires some parts and
criticizes others. Aside from that, they do
nothing else.
-They feel they have no
control of their lives, except to comment
about it.
- They are the most pathetic
and miserable people in the world.

2. ACTOR – Does not only watch the movie of


his life and can control a big part of his life.
- They are happy bunch, realizing
they’re the start of the show and enjoy some
level of control.
- They just wish the movie would
end in another way – but realize that they have
no say in such things.

3. ACTOR-SCRIPWRITERS – They don’t only


watch, don’t only act, but actually create the
entire movie in their minds.
- They have the
power to create the life they want. They
determine what they want to do and how the
movie will end.

IMPORTANCE OF PLANNING IN
REACHING OUR GOALS

1. Planning provides you with a road map to get


to your destination. It allows you to not only
figure out how you will get there, but also
gives you a way to determine how far you
have come and how much more you have left
to go. It helps keep you from spending time
on tasks that won’t bring you closer to your
goal.
2. Planning your life gives you control.
3. It is much easier to establish and maintain
balance in your life when you make a plan.
4. It is also easier to identify and focus on your
priorities when you create a plan.
5. Planning helps to make your dreams more
attainable.
6. Your plan will also help you to visualize a
better future.
7. Having a plan ensures that you will have no
regrets when you get to the end.

BUT REMEMBER:

help you to visualize your ideal life 10 years from
now.
You can also post your affirmations,
inspirational words, quotations, and thoughts.
Choose words and images that inspire you and
make you feel good.
Use only the words and images that best
represent your purpose, your ideal future, and
words that inspire positive emotions in you. There
is beauty in simplicity and clarity. Too many
images and too much information will be
distracting and harder to focus on.
