11. Click ‘Next’ on the Welcome to the
DA J2534 Software Setup Wizard pop
up window.
12. Click ‘Next’ on the Select Installation
Folder window.
13. Click ‘Next’ on the Confirm
Installation window.
14. Allow installation to complete (DO
NOT CLOSE THE BLACK MSDOS POP
UP WINDOWS –they will close once
complete).
15. Click ‘Close’ on the Installation
Complete window.
16. Close all windows.
17. Restart your SDD machine.
18. Go to – ‘Check the DA App Hub
level’.
Install updated DA AppHub_V2.3.5.zip
Windows XP and Windows 7
1. Go to the SDD desktop.
2. Double click ‘DAAppHub_V2.3.5.zip’.
3. Double click ‘setup.exe’.
4. Click ‘Run’ in the pop up window.
5. Click ‘Install’ in the pop up window.
6. Select ‘Repair Microsoft Visual C++
2010 x86 Redistributable to its original
state’.
7. Click ‘Next’.
8. Click ‘Finish’.
9. Click ‘Next’ on the Welcome to the DA
13. Go to - ‘Important Note’.
IMPORTANT NOTE
With the latest version of SDD you
will need to follow a specific process
to get SDD to recognise the
DA-Dongle/DA-VINA for the first time:
1. Disconnect the VCI device from the
SDD machine.
2. Power off your SDD machine.
3. Connect the DA J2534 Device to the
vehicle.
4. Connect the DA J2534 Device to your
SDD machine with the USB cable.
5. Power up your SDD machine.
6. Launch SDD.
7. Confirm device is recognised by SDD
in the System Information page.
8. Disconnect the VCI device from the
vehicle.
9. Restart your SDD machine.
10. Use the DA App Hub to update your
DA Device to Firmware Version V57.
11. Follow all prompts until the update
process is complete.
12. Shut down your SDD machine.
Note: For the first use on a vehicle after
update complete the instructions below:
13. Connect the VCI device to the
vehicle.
14. Connect the VCI device to SDD.
15. Start your SDD machine.
16. Launch SDD.
