Ss use colour paper and small coloured flake papers.

Tr will give each Ss 8 words.

Tr will write the word in the paper and Ss should rewrite above each word

If Ss finish early they will write a sentence for each word.

Tr will put paper in front of the whole class and write the words on a sticky paper.

Tr will choose one student randomly from the sticks.

Ss will search for the word that the Tr will say it.

Ss will stick it in the paper.

AAWC Lesson Reflection
The lesson was about the high-frequency word; I started by reading and spell the word, and read
the sentence together.
The explained the lesson for grade 3 boys. It takes place in the class; the students were sitting in
groups by levels. In this lesson I was trying to achieve the time management and try to keep the
students quiet and behavior. I have used a strategy that if the groups were behavior, they will
geta a point. Also, I was using another strategy that who will collect five starts until Thursday he
will get a gift from me and 5 points in Class Dojo. The students listened to me when I asked
them to be quiet and when I put my hand over my mouth and raise the other hand they were
doing like me. For low-level students have small colour papers and paper that have the word, so
they rewrote the words by the small colour papers. Middle level was picking up the words from
the Pop Corn box and read and writes the words in the paper; then they write a sentence for each
word. High level, they were matching the sticks together to get the correct word and glue it in the
A3 paper, and then they write a sentence for each word.
The students were responded to me because I do these strategies “collecting stars,” “Class Dojo
points” and the points that will give it to each group. They like the activities, and the activities
make them busy and quite. I was putting the words and the pictures to let the students understand
the words and not to forget it. I engage the students in the activities because it has many colours
and different thing other than usual because in each lesson they only read and write.
It was my first time that I give them a lesson, but they helped me through their quick
understanding and the discipline, they did not do a lot of chaos, and when I reminded them of the
points they should gather they immediately quiet. I hope that I meet my teaching goals because I
finished the lesson two or three minutes before the time, but I gave them a simple exercise
because if I left them without any work, they would be a mess. Also, the students were not noisy
like my first observation they were quiet and do their work without play.
In my next lesson, I think I will use the same strategies, or I will change the “Star students” and
make another one. Through my professional practice, I should practice for myself more and more
to develop my grammar. Also, in my next teaching practice on my first day, I will use a new
strategy for the students.
