Eurobeam Steel Beam Calculation

This document summarizes the structural design calculations for a 9 meter simply supported steel beam with intermediate restraints subjected to a total unfactored load of 177 kN. The beam was designed as Class 1 according to Eurocode 3 using a S275 UKB steel section that has the required strength and stiffness. Checks showed the beam has sufficient shear capacity, bending resistance, and resistance to lateral-torsional buckling. Deflections were found to be within permissible limits.
