the client is thoughtfully

may seem to be lost in his or

is important to allow the client
sufficient time to respond, even
if it seems like a long time.

the nurse and the nurse

reliability. Trust develops
when the client believes that the
nurse will be consistent in his

can be relied on to do what he

the client’s trust include being
friendly, caring, interested,

It increases during listening but

While maintaining good eye

important that the nurse doesn’t

Facial expression such as smile
connects words to illustrate
meaning; this connection
demonstrates the speaker’s
internal dialogue. An
expressive face portrays the
person’s moment-by-moment
thoughts, feelings and needs.
These expressions may be
evident even when the person
does not want to reveal his
emotions. (Videbeck 2nd

General Objectives:
• To guide the client toward identifying a plan of action to a satisfying and socially acceptable resolution.
Specific Objectives:
During the play therapy that we conducted, He was so active and often participated to different
games. A few minutes later, upon observing my client, I noticed that my patient seem to be lost in his own
thoughts and not paying attention to the one who are speaking in the front. At this situation, it is important
to allow the patient to have sufficient time to concentrate or respond even it seems like a long time.
For the third day that I met my patient after our conversation, there’s an eager feeling that I want to
be part of his healing process. I put myself on him, what if I am on his situation. I hope that during my duty
on CCMH with V.G., I can see the progress on him becoming good and lessen the onset of schizophrenia.
It’s a stressful day, but a productive and happy day also. I hope that I can learn more from V.G. and also
from the other patient of CCMH.
