Lesson Reflection 1

The document is a lesson reflection completed by a teacher named Alya Jasim after teaching English to kindergarten students about the letter Gg. In the lesson, the teacher played a creative letter song and showed an educational video that helped students understand how to write the letter clearly. However, when showing flash cards, the students answered randomly and were noisy, so the teacher's focus for the next lesson will be better classroom organization and structuring the activities.

Firstly, discuss one aspect that YOU feel you did very well. Try to analyze why
you think it worked well and what hints you would share with other teachers about
the successful strategy/ resource/activity/management style etc.

In this lesson I played a letters song and I show the students a video about how to write the letter “Gg”. The
video was very creative and the students understand the lesson and how to write it very clearly and easily.

Secondly, elaborate on the aspect identified by YOU that requires attention.

Discuss what the problem was, why it occurred and what action you intend to take
to be more successful in the next lesson.

- I show the students letters flash cards and ask them to say the letter that they can see on the cards they were
answering randomly and make noise.

Personal focus for next lesson:

- I would focus more in organizing the classroom and organizing the activities.
