GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

Gorman Graduation CP Requirements for


High School Subject Requirements Private or Out of State A-G Requirements for UC/CSU Admission
(Community College) Colleges

World History 10 credits - 1 year 10 credits - 1 year "a" requirement - Two years of history/social
science, including one year of world history,
U.S. History 10 credits - 1 year 10 credits - 1 year cultures and geography; and one year of U.S.
American Government 5 credits - 1 semester 5 credits - 1 semester History or one-half year of U.S. History and
one-half year of civics or American
Economics 5 credits - 1 semester 5 credits - 1 semester Government
"b" requirement - Four years of college
English/Language Arts 40 credits - 4 years 40 credits - 4 years
preparatory English
"c" requirement - Three years of college
20 credits - 2 years
30 credits - 3 years preparatory mathematics that include the
(Must include Algebra 1
