Design of Two Way Slabs

This document describes the design of two-way slabs and columns. For the slab, the spans, aspect ratio, depth, loads, bending moments, steel reinforcement requirements at different locations are calculated. The slab is designed as a two-way slab with 100mm depth using 8mm diameter bars at 210mm c/c. For the column, the unsupported length, effective length, axial load, bending moments are calculated. The column is classified as short and designed using 12mm bars at 40mm cover to resist the axial and bending loads.
