Create Transfer Order To Move Products Within A Plant (LT01)

Purpose
Use this procedure to create Transfer order to move finished products within a plant per
supervisor's direction

Trigger
Perform this procedure when you want to create Transfer order to move finished products
within a plant per supervisor's direction.

Prerequisites
 Warehouse number should exist
 Movement type should exist
 Material number should exist
 Quantity requested should be known
 Plant number should exist

Menu Path
Use the following menu path(s) to begin this transaction:
 Select Logistics Logistics Execution Internal Whse Processes Stock
Transfer Create Transfer Order LT01 - No Source Object to go to the
CREATE TRANSFER ORDER: INITIAL screen.

Procedure

1. Start the transaction using the menu path or transaction code.LT01

7. Double-click
Create Transfer Order: Initial Screen

8. As required, complete/review the following fields:


Field Name R/O/C Description

Warehouse Number R Number that identifies a complex, physical warehouse


structure within the warehouse management system
Example: XX1
Movement Type R Key for the type of warehouse movement. Each
warehouse movement (for example, goods receipt, goods
issue, stock transfer) is processed in the system by means
of a movement type Example: 999
Material R Alphanumeric key uniquely identifying the material.
Example: 70000000
Quantity requested R Quantity to remove from stock.
Example: 1
Plant/storage locatn R Plant Code and storage location.
Example: XX01

9. Click to continue

Create Transfer Order: Generate Transfer Order Item


10. As required, complete/review the following fields:
Field Name R/O/C Description

Typ [Source] R Storage type from which the transferred material is removed.
Example: 502

Storage bin R Storage bin from which the transferred material is removed.
Example: P-01

Typ [Source] R Storage type to which the transferred material will be placed.
Example: 502

Storage bin R Storage bin to which the transferred material will be placed.
Example: P-09

11. Click to continue

System displays a message "Check your entries"

12. Click to save the Transfer Order.


SAP Easy Access

13. Click until you reach SAP Easy Access Screen.

14. You have completed this transaction.


Result
You have created a Transfer order.
