 Flexible project management tool that you can use to
control simple or complex projects.
 Schedule and track all activities, can stay on top of
their progress.
 Calculates and creates a working schedule based on
information about :
1. the tasks to be done
2. The people who work on them
3. The equipment and supplies
4. The cost involved

Advantages of Microsoft Project


A. BUILD A PROJECT PLAN
1. Custom outline codes to create an outline structure
with custom codes that match with company’s work
breakdown structure (WBS) codes.
2. Deadline dates to set due dates, by which tasks should
be completed.
3. Task calendars to schedule when tasks can and cannot
be worked on, for example because of equipment
down time.
4. Material resources to calculate the cost of materials,
such as suppliers and other consumable items.
