Emcee Script for Monday Morning Sharing

You may be wondering why there are lots of flowers on stage. This is because we are celebrating
the Flores de Mayo. This celebration is in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and for the religious
Philippines, this is a tradition that cannot be easily erased from the calendar amidst the radical
changes in cultural orientation of the new generation.

Flores de Mayo is believed to have originated in the mid-1800s when the Vatican proclaimed
doctrines about the Immaculate Conception. The festivity is sometimes called Flores de Maria
which means Flowers of Mary, where Flores de Mayo means Flowers of May.

Our event for today will surely give us a lot of learning about the accomplishment report of the
different offices of LGU-Tagana-an. So please sit down, relax and enjoy the rest of the morning.

The Local Civil Registry Office has the thrust of recording the vital events of every person in the
Municipality of Tagana-an, which has something to do with the individual’s entrance into or

Municipal Engineering Office provides technical services to the local chief executive and other

It is responsible for passing ordinances and resolutions for the administration of a municipality. Let

Ability to lead and influence others; ability to relate and interact with peers, subordinates, and

accomplishment reports given by the different department heads. While the future is inherently
difficult to predict, those reports gives us a general idea on where the Tagana-an LGU is heading
in the future – a progressive and economically advanced Tagana-an.
