COURSE OUTCOMES

The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to detect defect and problem of the engine management system, ability to
assess problem that arise and assign the required repair job. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to:
 Setup Scan Tool
 Perform Fuel Pressure Test
 Operate Scan Tool Fuel System Diagnosis
 Analyze Oscilloscope Pattern
 Check Engine Management System Components Condition

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Engine management system diagnostic outlines work activities to determine condition and test performance of engine management
system parts & components in accordance with service manual. The competency includes setup scan tool, perform fuel pressure
test, operate scan tool fuel system diagnosis, analyse oscilloscope pattern, and check engine management system components
condition in accordance with manufacturer specification. The outcome of this competency is to detect defect and problem of the
engine management system, ability to assess problem that arise and assign the required repair job.
