ethnicity. You may also look for incidents where individuals have been ‘let off’ based on race.

1. Look for events that have happened recently. Don’t go back any further than 2000. Try to find
incidents that took place in Canada or involved Canadians.

2. Summarize the events, including any convictions. Do NOT just copy and paste the article
abstract. This needs to be in your own words.

3. Write a paragraph (100-150 words) detailing your reaction to this event and its outcome.
