Subject: Invitation for 'GREEN Olympiad' Examination 2018

Dear Sir/Madam,

We invite you to be a part of our prestigious environment examination ‘GREEN


Olympiad’ - the first national and international level annual environment
examination for school children organized by TERI since 1999. The examination
serves a dual purpose of both testing the environment quotient of students and
enhance their understanding on various issues related to sustainable development.
Over the years, there has been a remarkable growth in the number of participation
in this environment activity.

This year, the examination will be held on 7 September 2018 and 24 October
2018. Schools can conduct the examination on any one of these dates as per their
convenience.

‘GREEN Olympiad’ is open for students of classes 4 to 10, and is divided into 3
levels (grade/classes 4-5; classes 6-8; classes 9-10). There are separate registration
forms for each level and each form is to be supported with a list of students
participating in that particular level. Registration can also be made ‘Online’
through the project website - www.teriin.org/olympiad. School can either send a
single draft of registration amount (for all 3 levels), or separate drafts for each
level as per their convenience. Your school will be the ‘Centre’ for its registered
students and there is no limit on the maximum number of students who can
participate in this Olympiad. A registration form along with required information
is attached for your reference please.

We request you to kindly encourage your students and register your entries at the
earliest. The last date for registration is 31st July 2018. Registrations received
after the due-date will not be accepted. Please visit the project website:
