MIGO - Create Partial Cancellation for Goods Receipt

Purpose

Use this procedure to to return part of a delivery of goods or services.

Trigger

Perform this procedure when part of a delivery is unacceptable or incorrect.

Prerequisites

Use the following menu path to begin this transaction:

Helpful Hints

 R/O/C column in tables represents Required, Optional, or Conditional entry.


 If the original Goods Receipt was posted in a prior period (month), update the Document and
Posting date to a day within the current month.

Procedure
1. Start the transaction using the menu path or transaction code. The Goods Receipt Purchase Order
screen displays.

2. Click Movement Type drop-down .


3. Select Return Delivery .

4. As required, complete/review the following fields:


Field R/O/C Description
Material Document R
System generated document for material movement. Also,
a document created when a goods receipt has been
performed. The material document records the posting date
and materials received.
Example:

5. Click Execute .

6. Check OK check box .


7. As required, complete/review the following fields:
Field R/O/C Description
Qty in UnE R
Quantity in UnE.

8. Click Detail data button to open the Detail section.

9. Click Where tab .

10. Click Reason for Movement field .


11. Click Reason for Movement matchcode .

12. Double-click the reason for the return .

13. Click Check to validate the return request.


14. Click Post .
The system returns the message, "Document is O.K."
