 INTRODUCTION

This manual provides a general description and a technical

description of BASE24 allows a client to add, update and
delete BASE24 files and tables online from a host system.

 BASE24-FROM HOST MAINTENANCE PROCESSING

The from Host Maintenance process receives five types of messages from the host: add,
delete, and update. These requests are described below.

ADD – REQUEST:

Aggregate requests indicate the Host maintenance process to add a record or row to card
table.

 BIT 2 - Primary Account Number:

Length identifies the cardholder.

 transaction. The System Audit Trace
Number remains unchanged for

Assignment methods for the Systems
Trace Audit Number are entirely
up to the transaction originating
processor.
The System Trace Audit Number is used
by the ESP-Link™ Switch to
match a response to its request message.
It must be the same for all
messages (Authorization, financial,
advice and reversal) related to a
financial transaction.

BICLUB, BICHEQ, BICRD, DL, DI, ZAZ,
etc.) All uppercase. System entered from
the PARAM screen.

1 card Status Card Status: Displays the system’s NUMBER

numeric code that corresponds to the card
status shown in the tracking field (below).

• 0 = ISSUED
• 1 = ACTIVE
• 2 = WARM
• 3 = HOT
• 4 = ACTIVE

Offset: The calculated PIN offset. This DECIMAL

16 cardPINOffset allows you to issue cards immediately (i.e.
issue at bank branch). PIN in encrypted
form, encrypted by PAN #, PIN #, KPV,
DES.
