Dynamic Character

A dynamic character undergoes an important inner change in personality or attitude over the course of a story, such as Ebenezer Scrooge. In contrast, a static character does not experience any significant change in character, personality, or perspective. All characters in a story fall into either the dynamic or static category.

~All characters in a story are either dynamic or static.
A static character is one who doesn't undergo any
significant change in character, personality or perspective
over the course of a story. A dynamic character, in
contrast, undergoes a major transition in one or more of
these ways.
