All the types fulfill the most strict level 2: for the tolerances of the three
dimensions, according to prEN 771-1.

2 Compressive strength (method EN 772-01)


All the types fulfill the following limits:
mean > 4,0 N/mm2
minimum individual > 3,5 N/mm2
in accordance with prEN 771-1.

3 Net dry density (method en 772-13)


All the types fulfill the following limit:
1850 kg/m3 < mean < 2050 kg/m3
All the types fulfill the most strict level D2: max tolerance < 5%
in accordance with prEN 771-1.

4 Fire resistance
All types of our clay bricks are included in the products of class A1 ’’not contribute to the
spreading of fire’’ without the need for testing, in accordance with the decision of the European
technical commission 96/603/EK/EEL 267/19-10-96 with respect to the decision 94/611/EK
and the directive 89/106/EC for the building materials.

Our company in order to assure the constant conformity of its products to the
above specifications and their improvement has:

 complete quality control laboratory
 ISO 9001 certified quality assurance system
 Constant cooperation with external quality control laboratories
 Collaboration with the university of Geology in Athens
