This is YOUR classroom and I want us to

work together so we can get along!

We are going to establish our expectations….I have begun by establishing the expectations that I
have of you as learners.
YOU AS A LEARNER
• Relationships – I want to learn about who YOU are as a
person, who YOU are as a learner.
• Bringing the BEST ATTITUDE possible to school – I want
to see you achieve the best results in learning. If you
have a PROBLEM with anything at all, you must speak to
an adult, or teacher!
• To be prompt at beginning lessons and that you don’t
TALK BACK to me. I’m happy to hear your view, but what
can you do instead of calling out?

My expectations of you!
BEHAVIOUR EXPECTATIONS
I have one basic rule in this class:
RESPECT your school, follow all the class rules.
RESPECT your teacher and your classmates, listening to
when others speak.
RESPECT yourself, come to class ready and willing to learn.

My expectations of you!
NOW!

• YOUR TURN!

• What expectations do you want from me? I want

to love to have your ideas and I can make a
positive impact on your learning.
