CBMS-Based Barangay Development Planning & Budgeting

The 4-day training program provides an overview of the Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) and how it can be used for barangay development planning and budgeting. Participants will engage in 11 writeshops to develop a Barangay Development Plan covering the barangay's history, profile, programs implemented, vision/mission/goals, and budget. The writeshops will be interspersed with lectures, sharing of learning, and a hands-on exercise for developing the barangay budget using a worksheet. On the final day, participants will present and critique draft plans and budgets before finalizing and packaging their outputs for submission.
