PANTS Zine wanna do it?
Just do it. It is a simple statement, but it can mean
so much, particularly to college students who have a virtual
and physical cornucopia of opportunities available to us. But
we hesitate, we procrastinate, we avoid all that could be
messy and emotional. Yet, we have found that the messy and
emotional are pathways to explosive freedom and greater personal understanding. You
can't hit a home run without swinging the bat. So this issue is dedicated to you and your
dreams, fantasies, ideas, and imagination. It's time for you, yes you, to just do it.
Whether it be asking out the cute guy, tlying something new in bed (or out ), applying
for that job, or moving somewhere new and exotic for the summer, just for kicks. We all
too often get wrapped up in routine and forget to shake up our lives for that needed bit
of diversity and advcnture.
But, no one will deny that times are hard out there for sexual adventurers. The
last of the baby boom generation are clinging to the vestiges of decency and virtue with
such fervor, they have forgotten what it means to be human. The grownups are really
after young people lately, trying to contain all that dam interest in sex. We've seen a
dozen cases around the countly of prosecutors trying to jail teens for sexting. We've
seen governors vowing to veto equal rights legislation because the gays will take up all
the marriage licenses, leaving none for the breeders. We've seen newspapers at various
colleges challenged for running columns that discuss sex too "frankly" (that's code for
"honestly"). A Montana law professor, in fact, has called for censorship of the student
paper, saying its sex column is harming the reputation of the school and therefore her
career.
The latest attempt to demonize young people's sexuality involves a state legis-
lator's attempt to prevent a bunch of students from showing a porn film at the local uni-
versity. Screw the Constitution, he says, we're talking threesomes, girl-girl, and anal.
This is serious.
This doctrine says that sex is by its nature so dangerous, we must compromise
our liberty day after day after day to control it. Accordingly, as long as people are inter-
ested in sex, democracy is in trouble. Or to put it another way: that sex is so bad, any
action to contain it is justified, no matter how socially destructive it may be.
We aren't machines, created exclusively to have boring, vanilla, heterosexual,
monogamous encounters. Our psyche and human carnality are too volatile to be
crammed in such confined boxes. We are a species of innovators bodl in and out of the
bedroom. As a result of all this, we are calling for an outright sexual rebellion. It's time
for us to break down these boxes and walls and just do it. Literally!
Of course, every act of sex is an adventure. But beyond the willingness it takes
to take on the basic adventure of sex, there is another level of possible exploration, one
that takes you deeper into the recesses of you and your partner's desires. So put on your
harness; strap-on, diaper, glow-in-the-dark condom, or whatever it is that floats your
boat and give it a shot. Think of this zine as an orgasmic sexual oasis in a deselt of
frigid, vanilla ideology. College is a time for experimentation and wild exploits. It has
been a long cold winter, but finally the doors are opening with the freedom and possi-
bilities that summer brings. If you are looking for a sign, this is it. Go out dlere and take
chances, try something new. Swing your bat, you might strike out or you might hit a
grand slam. Weare young and have nothing to lose. Just do it.

Your back is arched and sweat is beading up on your skin. Grabbing onto
the mess of blankets on the bed, you curl your toes and go deeper into numerous
paths in your mind that continue expanding. You feel yourself floating up through
your body and into a cavernous world of sensations. The smells of sweat and
pheromones, the taste of salt and the tingles beginning to stretch through your body
spin together as your breathing gets heavier. Suddenly, you feel a deep rush of
sensations and the tingles permeate your body, as if a flood of every emotion and
sensation ran through your mind and into your stomach, down your back and shot
out of your limbs in mere seconds and you collapse on your back.
If you've experienced anything close to this, then you probably had an
orgasm. Perhaps you haven't experienced something like that but you've felt a
release of energy, or the satisfaction of a good sneeze, a tickle, a mind-blowing
explosion, like you are melting, or maybe you've never had one. No two orgasms
are alike. Everyone has a different experience, whether it is from your own hands, a
vibrator, someone else's fingers or mouth, penetration by a penis, or warm apple
pie.
What is an orgasm? Orgasm- "intense or paroxysmal excitement; espe-
cially: an explosive discharge of neuromuscular tensions at the height of sexual
arousal that is usually accompanied by the ejaculation of semen in the male and by vagi-
nal contractions in the female" (Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary, 2005).
So what the hell does that mean? Orgasm is a difficult word to defme, as it is
different for every person. Orgasms differ between males and females. Studies have
been done that show us that different parts ofthe brain shut down, while other parts
light up during an orgasm. People often enter a deep, emotionless state, with women
going into an even deeper state than men. Men have described orgasms to tingle, make
them numb all over, and feel like there is an explosion shooting out of their body.
For those women who are sexually active and cannot have an orgasm during
sex and find themselves feeling left out and unusual, consider this: "Only about 30% of
women have orgasms from intercourse alone," (Guide To getting it On, Paul Joannides).
The females' clitoris is designed solely for pleasure, which explains why most women
do not orgasm during sexual intercourse with only penetration.
What if you can only have an orgasm alone or you just can't have one? This,
in fact, is more common than most people know. Some women have their first orgasm
at 10 years of age, where
others have theirs at 38 years ""J¥ '"",--

Transgenderism Glossary:
Androgyne:a person who live without appearing or behaving particularly male or female.
Androgynous! Androgyny Having both masculine and feminine gender typed traits
Autogynephilia Component of a psychological theory intended to explain the development of Gender Iden-
tity Disorder (GID). Gill is said to be the result of a mis-directed sex-drive. According to the creater of this
theory, Ray Blanchard, a transsexual who is sexually attracted to members of their target sex has a sex-drive
directed at the idea of being the target sex.
BDSM An abbreviation for "Bondage, Domination, Sado-Masochism" sexuality characterized by the con-
senual exchange of power. This is echange of power can be either physical (e.g., spanking), psychological
(e.g., teasing), or both. Often BDSM involves gender-related play when the partner with power adopt a male
role and the partner without power adopts of female role.
Bigender The tendency to fliexbly shift between masculine and feminine gender-typed behavior depending
on context. While an androgynous person retains the same gender-typed behavior across situations, the bigen-
dered person purposely changes their gender-role behavior for the situation. It is particularly noteeorthy that
this concept emerged from within the transgender community rather than being adopted by the transgdern
community after it was created by another sub-culture (e.g. transsexual was defined first by the mental health
community).
Female to MalelFtM: A transsexual born as female and transitoning to male.
Fetish: Among the more common fetish objects are women's underpants, bras, stockings, shoes, boots, or
other wearing apparel. The person with Fetishism frequently masturbates while holding, rubbing, or smelling
the fetish object or may ask the sexual partner to wear the object during their sexual encounters.
Gender Dysphoria: Having negative or conflicting feelings about one's sex or gender role.
Gender Euphoria: Feeling positive about one's cross-gender activities. The term arises in the transgender
community as a pun playing on the psychological term "gender dysphoria"
Gender Fuck: To purposely present with strongly visible elements of both sexes (e.g., to have a beard and
wear a dress). The intent of gender"fucking is typically to provoke people to think about gender roles.
Gender Identity: An inner sense that one is or belongs to a particular sex.
Hermaphrodite: A person with primary or secondary sex characteristics of both sexes. Note that, though this
term continues to be used by mental health professionals, those classified as such often consider it derogatory
another.
Intersexuality! Intersex: Having primary or secondary sex charasteristics of both sexes. This is the preferred
term for intersexed personsadvocacy groups benefititing the intersex.
Male to Female! MtF : An abbreviation for "male to female" It refers to a transsexual born as male and tran-
sitoning to female.
Paraphilia: A sex-drive directed at any non-socially accepted object or activity. Kissing, though directed at
an object not directly linked to procreation is not considered a paraphilia because it is socially acceptable. A
fetish is a kind of paraphilia. Transgenderism is currently considered a paraphilia but homosexuality no longer
IS.
Queer: Deviation from societal norms for gendered and sexual behavior. Queer is an umbrella term to many
groups including those who are transgendered, those who practice BDSM, or those who are gay, lesbian, or
bisexual. Although originally a derogatory term of the larger society, it has been seized for empowerment as a
term of self-definition.
Sexual Orientation: Sexual attraction to a particular group of persons. Typical sexual orientations are to the
other sex (heterosexuality) and one's own sex (homosexuality).
She-male: A typically-derogatory term for a male to female transsexual with breasts and a penis. This ternl is
common in pornography but rarely used in other contexts.
Target Sex: The desired sex of a transsexual or transgendered person. This the opposite of one's biological
sex,
Transexual: Purposely spelled with only one "s", this term was intended to take the psychological term from
the mental health professional sub-culture and re-define it for the transgender sub-culture.
Transgender: An umbrella term referring to anyone who's behavior, thoughts, or traits differ from the socie-
tal expectations for their sex. This group includes cross-dressers, transsexuals, intersexuals, gay men, lesbian
women, and bisexuals.
Transvestitism! Transvestite: A psychopatholigical term that includes cross-dressing but also includes otller
opposite-sex-related clothing activity. Transvesitism includes behaviors from cross-dressing to masturbating
while wearing a single object of the opposite-sexes clothing

Love at first sight
give or take a few seconds
Everyone's heard the saying "love at fIrst sight," but
is it true? And if so, how long does it take to fall in
love? A study in the journal "Archives of Sexual
Behavior," reported that a man could be in love after
just 8.2 seconds of staring at a woman. But ifhis
gaze lasts just four seconds, he may not be all that
impressed. The same can not be said of women,
however, as they stay focused for the same length of
time whether they fInd the man attractive or not. The
researchers believe that men use eye contact to seek
out mates, while women are more wary of attracting
unwanted attention.

The difference between friends and "friends"
60 percent of college students report
commitment-free sexual relationships
Can two people have sex and still remain "just friends?" A recent study
found that 60 percent of college students have been in a "friends with benefits" rela-
tionship, but that the possibility for romantic feelings - and a lack of communication
- can complicate such an arrangement.
That may seem fairly obvious. But the study focused on why college stu-
dents have these relationships at all. Researchers from Wayne State University and
Michigan State University asked 125 undergraduates why they would or wouldn't
have sex with a friend, and what the advantages or disadvantages would be.
Two-thirds of participants said they had been in a "friends with benefits"
relationship, and 36 percent said they currently were in one. The main advantage of
such a relationship was "no commitment" (reported by 59.7 percent ofpmticipants),
which was followed closely by "have sex" (55.6 percent).
More than half of those who had sex with a friend said they had engaged in
all forms of sex; 22.7 percent said they had intercourse only, while 8 percent said they
did everything but have intercourse.
The relationships were perceived as providing a relatively safe and conven-
ient environment for recreational sex

It seems certain that one can exist as a whore in the minds of others without knowing
it. No, rumors of campus slu read like cold sores in February. Often times people
directly say it in said-whore's or mention it rather loudly in her vicinity, and this un-

she associates with that word. How could they know? But realizing that the silent,'h
ing person could live amongst anybody, shouldn't that impact people enough to alter
words and attitudes?
Furthermore, we share life as humans. Every single one of us came into the
world the same way, so who are we to judge one another? Let's assume that a so-called
whore may indeed sleep with many people; who cares? Does it matter? Perhaps she hides
a secret reason for her promiscuity so just leave her alone, or maybe she really does enjoy
having sex with a variety of people. Is that any different from other sexual activities?
Would we concoct demoralizing names for people who readily relished orgies or
threesomes? As long as all practices remain safe, of course not.
So let people be. Let people live. Let us change our attitudes and vocabulary.
Let us foster a worldwide community of respect and love, and let it begin here at GMC.
Let us become conscientious and thoughtful. Let us grow into mature adults. We don't
need these stupid slurs; we are not thirteen anymore.

People all over
the world have differ-
ent views on sex. In
2003, in Lawrence v.
Texas, the U.S. Su-
preme Court ruled 6-3
that sodomy laws were
unconstitutional in the
United States. Prior to
the laws being passed,
there were states that
were against sodomy
of any kind and others
with sodomy laws that
applied only to homo-
sexuals. Even now,
there are some states
that still attempt to en-
force their laws, such as Virginia, Oklahoma and North Carolina.
Everyone has their opinion on anal sex. Some people love it, are
disgusted by it, are intrigued by it or just don't want to go there. The goal
of my article is not to sway you one way or another but to educate. No
matter what your sexual preference, anal sex can be both fun and enjoy-
able if it's done safely.
The key to comfortable penetration is being aroused and feeling
relaxed with the person you are with. What would normally feel good to
you one day may not if you are feeling stressed or uncomfortable the next.
When first experiencing anal insertion, it is probably best to start with a
finger or two until you feel comfortable. Anal massage is also a good way
to stimulate without anal insertion. There are many nerve endings in the
anus which can stimulate pleasure with some lube and massaging. There
are natural lubricants secreted by the colon and the anus but keep in mind
