Individual
The Individual license is intended for use by a single named user.

The products are used by a single named user. The products can be activated on up to four
different computers, provided that the products are only accessible to and used by that
single named user. A named user may not use a program on more than two computers
simultaneously.

Network Named User License


The Network Named User license is intended for use by a specified number of designated
named users to run the product on any computer that is connected to a single FlexNet
license manager. It is the responsibility of the licensee to maintain a list of specific user
names. This license option requires a minimum of two named users.

1. You specify the list of named users for each product on your license. The products
may be operated by named users on computers served by a single license manager
up to the maximum number licensed to use each product.
2. A named user may not use a program on more than two computers simultaneously.
3. You edit a file to maintain a list of authorized named users.

Concurrent
The Concurrent license is intended for use by a specified number of concurrent users to run
the product on any computer that is connected to a single FlexNet license manager.

1. You specify the products you require and the number of concurrent use keys for
each product on your license.
2. Multiple users can access the software simultaneously on any number of computers
served by a single license manager. When the number of simultaneous users equals
the number of concurrent keys, anyone who subsequently tries to start the software
is denied access until a key becomes available again.

• You may install products in a central location or on individual computers as long as the use
on all computers is controlled by the license manager.
• The license is restricted to a single country of operation.

MathWorks for pricing information.
• The first year of Software Maintenance Service is included with new product licenses. You
can continue uninterrupted service in subsequent years by renewing your subscription
annually.

• An active subscription is required to purchase add-on products.
