Lab 1 design
The following is the variation of torque, speed, and back emf respectively during starting for 10
seconds.
LAB TWO
Objective
Lab 2 design
The following graph were obtained from the initial values of 5.0 reference voltage and 4000rpm
frequency.
From the initial simulation, the following values were recorded for the voltage, current and speed
of the motor.
Current= 0.01465
Voltage= 11.9985
Speed = 3999.5
The following table was retrieved while reducing the speed of the motor in steps of 50rpm until
750rpm.

Discussions
As the reference voltage reduces, the rotor speed in RPM equally reduces.
The stator current is directly proportional to the reference voltage. The higher the refence
voltage the higher the stator current ads illustrated. At a reference voltage of 5.0 the
stator current is 14.71e-3 while at 0.938 reference voltage the stator current reduces to
2.71e-3
