Corsa C 2001-2009 ECU Error Codes
Corsa C 2001-2009 ECU Error Codes
reset it just by turning the ignition on 10 times and then just start the car if it goes off it is not a perment fault but if it
stays on you will have to go to vauxhall
You can read the code yourself on the C (dont know if it works on the B)
first of all get in your car and press both the brake and accelerate pedal, then while having your foot on both pedals
put the key in the ignition to position 2 (so basically the position before making the engine start on position 3)
if it flashes 10 times it means its '0' and any other flashes correspond to the number, each number is seperated by a
pause
for example code 0174 would have spanner light flash 10 times, then a 2 second pause, then flash once, then another
2 second pause, then flash 7 times, then a 2 second pause, then flash 4 times
if you have more than 1 error code logged, the spanner light will leave a few seconds before doing the next one
if no codes are logged then the spanner light will just constantly flash until you release the pedals
codes are here, would be good to sticky this for future reference
1. Press and hold the brake and accelerator pedals to the limit of their respective travels
2. Turn on ignition to position 2
3. The engine symbol on the dash will then begin to blink
4. Continue as below step 8
Method 2
1. Press and hold the brake and accelerator pedals to the limit of their respective travels
2. Turn ignition key to Position 2, ie dash lights on
3. Release accelerator pedal
4. Re-depress accelerator pedal to the floor
5. Turn off ignition
6. Turn on ignition to position 2
7. The engine symbol on the dash will then begin to blink
8. There will be a sequence of flashes, separated by small pauses between numbers and a longer pause between separate fault codes.
9. The number of flashes needs to be counted and thus the 4 digit fault code can be determined.
