Group 2: card flip

1. You will be playing addition and subtraction flip


2. Firstly you will flip over the cards to see the numbers
3. Flip over the addition or subtraction sign
4. If it is subtraction check that the first number on the
card is bigger than the second
5. If it is smaller swap the cards over
6. Write the equation in your book or white board and
complete the sum
7. Wait until everyone has finished in your group and
flip over the next cards
Group 3: Addition and Subtraction bingo

1. You will be playing bingo


2. Everyone will get a bingo card and 15 counters

3. The equation card pile will be flipped over

4. You must solve the equation on a piece of paper

5. If you have the answer on your bingo board you

can place a counter over that square


6. You only get 1 minute to work out the equation

7. The first person to get four counters in a row is the

winner
8. You say BINGO! If you get four in a row

9. The teacher will check your answers

10. You only win if they are correct

11. work as a team and work responsibly
