Course Principles: Subject Name-Mathematic-I

The document discusses the key topics in the Mathematic-I course syllabus. The course covers calculus, which involves the study of rates of change and accumulation. It also covers linear algebra, including matrices and systems of linear equations. The syllabus will focus on infinite sequences and series, indeterminate forms, improper integrals, applications of integration, multiple integrals, partial derivatives, linear algebra, and Fourier series.

Course Principles

Subject Name-Mathematic-I

Calculus is the study of change, with the basic focus being on

 Rate of change
 Accumulation

Linear algebra is the branch of mathematics concerning linear equations

 Matrices
 System of Linear Equations

Differential and integral calculus is concerned with the analysis of the behaviour of functions

in general and how they are affected by when certain conditions are imposed on them. They

provides engineers with effective tools to predict what critical values (e.g. the rate of heat

transfer in a particular material use to carry hot water and say how long it will take for a

material to reach some critical temperatures) and to observe the effects of certain restrictions

on them (e.g. How long would it take to reach certain critical temperatures if the material was

initially at a particular temperature). It also provides methods to approximate these values to

any required level of accuracy and precision. There are many different applications for

calculus in engineering.Linear algebra is the branch of mathematics concerning linear

equations such as linear functions such as and their representations through matrices and

vector spaces. Linear algebra is central to almost all areas of mathematics.

In Syllabus we are going to study:

 Infinite Sequence and Series.

 Indeterminate forms and Improper integral

 Application of Integration and Multiple Integrals.

 Partial derivative and its application.

 Linear Algebra

 Fourier Series
