1.0 PURPOSE

This document describes the procedure for performance monitoring of outside laboratory
which are enlisted as Data Collection Agencies with EIL.

2.0 SCOPE

This document is to be used as base document while preparing tender inputs for
preparation of tender for environmental baseline data collection.

3.0 REFERENCES

3.1 Environmental Baseline Reports prepared by DCAs.

4.0 DEFINITIONS

4.1 Environmental Baseline Report

The report which consists monitored environmental data in terms of quality of air, water,
noise, meteorology, flora and fauna, socio-economic prepared by the DCA.

5.0 METHODOLOGY AND CONTROLS

Based on approved EBRs and log reports, completion certificates shall be issued to the
DCA . These certificates govern the selection of vendor list for a particular work. The
procedure of assessment is described below:

Review filled-in log reports submitted by DCA.

Review the time schedule issued in the tender vis-as-vis actual time
taken by the DCA particularly for submission of EBR.

Fill the contents of completion certificate based on the assessment of


above steps.

Concerned job engineer in consultation with lead engineer will do all the above activities.

Lead engineer will review all the above activities in parallel or as a whole.

Job engineer will incorporate all the comments as suggested by the lead engineer.

The approver will approve completion certificate. Job engineer will also incorporate
comments of the approver.
