In the interest of the service and in view of the increase in the national equivalent road length
of South Cotabato 2nd District Engineering Office for a total of 280.247 kilometers
subsequent to the inclusion of the converted portion of Albert Morrow Blvd. in General
Santos City, namely; Katangawan-Mabuhay Sect., Mabuhay-Apopong Sect. and Northern
Sect., Upper Silway-Lower Apopong Sect., into a national road thru D.O. No. 140, series of
2016 and the changes in number of lanes along the portion of Makar-Marbel Road due to the
implementation of the DPWH Standard lane width of 3.05m for secondary and tertiary roads
and 3.35m for primary roads, pursuant to Item No. 2 of D.O. No. 110, series of 2016, the
South Cotabato 2nd District Engineering Office, Region XII is hereby reclassified
from 2nd Class DEO to 1st Class DEO.

This Order shall take effect immediately.
