TREE CUTTING
Implementation Date

1.0 OBJECTIVE

The purpose of cutting tree is to clear up the site for the next infrastructure work like
walkway, drainage, road furniture and etc.

2.0 REQUIREMENT

During process of cutting tree, site supervisor need to prepare all the equipment to cut tree.
The cutting tree must be based on inventory drawing and according to the work program
schedule.

3.0 MACHINERIES & EQUIPMENT

Machineries and equipment involves during cutting tree :


a) Skylift
b) Chain-saw
c) Roro Bin
d) PPE ( Safety Helmet, Boots , Safety Vest, Gloves , Googles)

4.0 PROCEDURE

1. Prepare all equipment and machineries involves before starts cutting tree such as Sky-

lift, Chainsaw, Axe and etc.

2. Make sure worker wear correct PPE before starts cutting tree such as harnest, glove,

highly visibility vest, helmet, boots.

3. Pick one tree and make clearance around 1-2 m around the tree by using barrier.

4. Pick one worker to manage the traffic.

5. Assign one worker to cut tree from the sky-lift and one worker to cut tree branches into

small pieces.

6. Put the branch into the roro bin and clean up the area.

7. Repeat the same thing when moving on to the next tree.
