Discover the physical & cultural geography of
the Middle East, Africa, & Asia. For each of
these world regions, we will focus on essential
features following: the area’s geographic and
cultural characteristics, its historic
development, and the major political and
economic systems found there.

40% Minor Assessments/ Quizzes 10% Major Assessments/ Projects

40% Classwork 10% Major Assessments/ Tests

Final grades will be a weighted average of all grades earned during the grading period.
The Gordon County Academic Grading Scale will be used: A= 90 and above, etc.
No extra credit will be offered.

Expectations: Student expectations


Students are expected to follow the Student Handbook
guidelines & to be:

supplies needed, follow directions, be on time &

late work policy Discipline
Discipline Cycle in a 9 ½ week period:
The expectation is that you submit all 1st Offense- silent lunch
assignments on time for full credit. Late 2nd Offense- silent lunch
work will receive a reduced grade. 3rd Offense- lunch detention & parent
Students will earn a grade of 0 until work is contact
turned in. 4th Offense- in-team suspension
5th Offense- Office referral
If you are absent, it is YOUR responsibility to
initiate all makeup work for excused Most classroom discipline will follow the
