Schedule of Experiments For Int. MSC-PH.D (General Physics Lab) - 2018

The schedule assigns 6 physics experiments to 5 graduate students over the months of August through November. Each student is assigned a different experiment each week, rotating through the 6 total experiments. The experiments include studying a Kater's pendulum, determining magnetic susceptibility using Quincke's tube method, determining the coefficient of linear expansion using Fizeau's method, determining Young's modulus using Cornu's apparatus, measuring the specific charge of electrons, and measuring dielectric constants using a parallel plate capacitor.
