Homework 4 Second Partial

The document reports on the quarterly sales figures of four chocolate bars - Banjo, Gremlin, Yahoo, and Razzle - over the course of 2001, noting that Banjo started the year with the highest sales but sales declined, while Gremlin and Yahoo had consistent sales trends and Razzle's sales fluctuated dramatically. It also provides a reordering of the original sentences to tell a coherent story and includes an appendix with alternative language to describe trends in data.

 CORRECT ORDER OF SENTENCES:

Banjo sales figures began the year higher than those of Gremlin,
Yahoo and Razzle at 66,000 bars sold in the first quarter.

Razzle grew in popularity for the first three quarters of the year, but
sales plunged dramatically in the last quarter to an all-time low of
11,000 bars.

Razzle sales were consistently the lowest, except in the second

quarter when they outsold Gremlin bars by 3,000 sales, whereas Banjo
remained the best-selling bar.

Gremlin bars and Yahoo followed the same sales trend throughout the
year, although more Yahoo bars were eaten overall.

Yahoo sales continued to rise slowly and finished the year at 35,000
bars sold in the last quarter.

Sales of Gremlin bars dramatically increased in the third quarter, with

sales doubling from 15,000 to over 30,000.

Gremlin and Yahoo worst quarter was the second, when they sold only
16,000 and 12,000 bars respectively.

Banjo proved to be the most popular chocolate bar in the year 2001,
selling a total of 206,000 bars.

However, by the end of the year Banjo was selling less than at the start
at only 50,000 bars in the last quarter.

The line chart provides information on the quarterly profit figures of the three
different football clubs in the year 2002.

The most obvious trend in the graph is that profits of Greenwhich F.C. and Rovers
F.C. had a drastic fall and reached them to bottom out in the first quarter. But after
immediately, their profits recovered considerably so, hit a peak, however in the
following quarters, their profits fell again but not so strongly. On the other hand, the
profits of Blackpool F.C. were increased steadily the year around.

The overall picture shows a rise of over 25% more profits of Blackpool F.C. than
previous quarter. Apparently, at the beginning of the year, the profits of the other
football clubs reached profits of 40,000 and 50,000 dollars, but in some quarters,
they came to have very low profits like 10,000 dollars.

In conclusion, I consider to the overall profits of Blackpool are better than of the
Greenwhich F.C. and Rovers F.C. because not suffer ups and downs constantly.
Thanks to this chart we can give us an idea of how not all the football clubs have
good profits, since like any company the profits depend on many aspects.
