Task 2
Task 2
It is true that in some areas of education, computers are superior to teachers. First, in terms of
knowledge distribution computers give educators and learners the fastest way to access information. In
fact, an electronic device connected to the Internet could instantly gather information from billions of
other devices. Second, computers with other peripheral devices allow not only teachers can make more
visual demonstrations but students also easier to get new knowledge. In addition, a laptop with high
portability and the enormous information it can access, acts as a teacher even if outside the classroom.
On the contrary, teachers are still deemed as the core element of the education system. Although
computer can handle a huge amount of data, perform calculation faster and more accurately than us,
they cannot teach us abstract concept such discipline, morality. Thus, regardless of how fast a computer
is, it still far from undertaking the teacher’s roll. In addition, in artistic subjects, computers become
limited in creative ability. For example, a singer can show how to flow emotion into a song to her next
generation which a computer cannot be understood in the near future.
To conclude, teachers are the backbone of the education system, their role is the leader, inspirator for
the next generation. Computer and technology without doubt have accelerated the education system
and help teachers complete their mission.
