ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

The researchers would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to all the people
who served as a great help, in any means, and thus made this study a success.

First and foremost to God Almighty, for His immeasurable blessings and
guidance throughout the study and for the wisdom He bestowed upon the researchers to
complete the research successfully.

To their thesis adviser, Prof. Jocelyn E. Serrano, for her guidance,


patience, and constant support by sharing her expertise throughout the study; for
unselfishly devoting her time despite her hectic schedule as the college dean.

To DR. Lilibeth A. Cajuday, as the Chairman of the Panel of Evaluators, for


her invaluable notions and words, intellectual suggestions, willingness to help and
unselfish assistance that improved their study. To PROF. Jazzlyn T. Imperial and
DR. Neal R. Llanto, as Members of the Panel of Evaluators, for their
recommendations and constructive criticisms to improve the interpretation of the study.

test in the blood parameters of the animal models used in this study that helped a lot in
